September 30, 2026 – Attended Birth

I got to know your parents as a very open-minded young couple and was looking forward to your upcoming birth. Your parents, especially Mama, showed a lot of patience and willpower beyond your estimated due date. More than once, you were taken up the Uetliberg. It was a beautiful late summer, which helped your parents enjoy the days with you still in Mama’s belly, and then, with our last little nudge, you started your journey.

Things progressed rapidly. I was briefly at your home, and soon we packed everything up and drove to the hospital. Once there, your Mama was first in the tub, where you could both relax, and your little door opened rapidly. But when the pressure came directly upon you, you reacted with your heart tones. Unfortunately, the birth then progressed a bit more hesitantly. And when you reacted to our interventions with further changes in your heart, we decided on a C-section.

Your parents were overjoyed to meet you, and when you came into the world, you showed how vital you were. You were soon on Mama’s chest, and to top it all off, you already had your first sips of liquid gold there. All’s well that ends well: your parents were happy, you were here, and your mother wasn’t entirely surprised by the path you chose, as your cousin experienced something similar.

It was wonderful to have met you during your first breaths, and I sincerely wish you and your family much joy, health, and open-mindedness.
