Postpartum support in your home
The first time with your baby is full of new emotions, new experiences, and sometimes uncertainties too. With our postpartum support, we support you at home after discharge from hospital, so you can experience this special time feeling well supported, safe, and strengthened.
The costs for postpartum support are covered by basic health insurance up to day 56 after the birth. Up to 16 postpartum visits are possible for first-time mothers, multiples, premature births, and after a caesarean section; for mothers who have given birth before after a spontaneous birth, up to 10 visits are possible.
Postpartum support
We support you and your newborn in the first weeks after the birth with individual home visits. We take time for your questions, offer guidance, and support you in building confidence in your new family routine. If any concerns or medical special circumstances arise, we stay in close contact with your gynaecologist or the paediatric practice, as well as other specialists.
Cost for initial consultation: CHF 60.– per 30 minutes
