So small, so unique, so wonderful. Here we celebrate the little miracles who have arrived with us – and the families we are allowed to accompany.

August 18, 2026 – Hospital Birth

And then they came again, your kicks! Mama found it very painful at times, and with positions and TENS we kept your little feet in check. In the early morning hours, the door to your current home stood wide open.

August 17, 2026 – Attended hospital birth

And so you drew closer. Soon your mama was able to touch you! When your head slipped out of your mama, we were so happy.

7 August 2026 – Attending midwife birth

That summer went down in history with one heatwave after another. So it was hardly surprising that it was warm that night, too, when you set off on your way. Your parents called from Triemli Hospital to let me know that labour had begun.

August 6, 2026 – Home birth

She takes surge after surge while I prepare my things. I can see by your mom's face that it won't be long until you are here. Shortly after, she feels the first urge to push.

July 23, 2026 – Attended Birth

I wanted to wait a moment for a freshly cleaned delivery room with a bathtub, but when I saw your mother, it was immediately clear that there was no time left for that, and we went to the next available room. There was no time to properly settle in, because you were in a hurry.

2 July 2026 – Transfer from a home birth

I set off in the night to your beautiful house by the lake, and when I arrive, your mom is already having regular and frequent surges. Soon, a beautiful atmosphere fills your living room. Quiet and romantic, eventually illuminated by the dawn. A rooster crows to welcome the day and the flies wake up.

And then, in the afternoon at 3, your cervix was fully dilated, and I celebrated your mom for it. Unbelievable how wonderfully she was doing. But I was slowly getting tired and was glad your second midwife came to assist.

It seems the stars were aligned for quick births this week. In the afternoon, we met again for a check-up past your mum’s due date. Your mum expressed very clearly that she wanted to experience a natural onset of labour. No sooner said than done: I gently encouraged your mum’s uterus to start producing waves, and it worked.

13 May 2026 – Birth with an attending midwife

Just as I was having dinner with my family, your birth rapidly picked up pace. Your parents contacted me, feeling a bit uncertain. I told them to come when the contractions were every 5 minutes. But the contractions were already every 3 minutes. Well, usually, for such super-fast babies like you, I try to leave a little room for maneuver with a phrase or two.

27 April 2026 – Home birth

Another week later, your waters start to leak a little during the night. Throughout the day, your mum keeps having contractions—sometimes more, sometimes less; sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker.

19 April 2026 – Birth with an attending midwife

When your gate opened, you took a little more time to find your way. But it became increasingly exhausting for your mum, and she was very afraid she might no longer be able to welcome you while fully awake. That is why we decided together on a gentle caesarean and "prince" birth.

15 April 2026 – Home birth

Five days later, your surges begin at 3 AM. From the start, they are nice and long, and soon they become regular. At 6 AM, I am able to make my way to you. Your mama is already breathing deeply; your surges are strong, and she has just had to vomit. The TENS machine is helping her, and when the pool is ready, she is very happy to get in.

6 April 2026 – Birth with an attending midwife

The birth was already well underway, and the atmosphere was calm. Your dad was quietly by your side, and we observed what was happening. There wasn't much more we had to do. You came closer all on your own.

1 April 2026 – Home birth

You'll be staying a bit longer than your sister at Mom's Hotel. After your mom independently uses a homeopathic remedy because she feels it's about time, you obediently make your way.
