March 13, 2026 – Home Birth

I was so happy when your mama asked me if I would accompany her again during pregnancy and for the birth. Somehow it felt as if your sister’s birth had been just yesterday. What was new was that I now belonged to the Härzchlopfä team and you would also get to meet Lisa.

During the last weeks before your due date, your mama truly blossomed. Every day she practiced yoga for herself and prepared the rooms and everything you would need as well as possible. I experienced her as calm within herself and full of anticipation.

About two weeks before the estimated due date, you gave little signs that you were gradually getting ready. Your mama informed me at noon as a precaution, but didn’t need us around her yet. So I went to sleep thinking that these were probably preparatory contractions and it would still take a while. Your big siblings got to go to Nona and Nono.

During the night, your mama felt waves again and again and breathed through them very calmly. In the morning at 6:00 AM, you clearly showed that it was time. The pressure of your little head became stronger and stronger, so your mama called me quickly. I immediately got in the car and informed Lisa at the same time. I could have imagined that you would already be there, but we had just enough time to prepare a few things. Your papa was now awake too.

Intuitively, your mama embraced the final waves and gave birth to you in a short time on all fours.

What peace there was in the room. Beautiful! The calm, the strength, the naturalness—all of it touched us deeply.

Thank you for allowing us to share this with you.

A warm welcome, little earthling!

With love
