You are a truly longed-for child. It wasn’t without some effort that you came into your mother’s womb. But from the first day I had the pleasure of meeting your parents, they were in love.
Your pregnancy was marked by medical ups and downs, which didn’t always make it easy for you to relax. Nevertheless, you decided to arrive at the last minute. Your parents barely dared to call me in the middle of the night, even though you were already well on your way.
Towards early morning, we met at Triemli. Outside, the first beautiful spring days were dawning, and the birds were chirping. We drew a lavender bath for your mother. The many waves with short breaks kept you busy. Your dad and I tried to provide relief with back pressure.
In the afternoon, we opted for pain support, which brought the hoped-for progress in labor. You both did so wonderfully – despite exhaustion, we repeatedly found new positions for your mother and you, and you came closer step by step.
It was a strenuous birth. When you finally saw the light of day, we also knew why: you had the umbilical cord wrapped around you three times. Presumably, it kept pulling you back a little, and your mother had to work with double the strength.
But you all made it, the three of you. Your parents were completely enchanted by you. Unfortunately, after the birth of your little home, there was a bit more bleeding than usual, and your mother had to undergo a short operation. During this time, you got to cuddle with your dad.
Ultimately, you mastered everything together.
Welcome, little earth mouse – it was wonderful to be there.
